Dr. Megan Lim is a triple board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who believes that exceptional medical care starts with making patients feel heard, safe, and comfortable.
She focuses her practice primarily on Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous reconstruction and the management of skin cancers, with a special interest in helping immunosuppressed patients.
Dr. Lim approaches every procedure with a delicate touch and a careful eye. Her goal is always two-fold: the precise and complete removal of cancerous cells, paired with meticulous reconstruction to give her patients the best possible cosmetic outcome. Beyond surgical oncology, she also brings this same attention to detail to laser skin rejuvenation and scar revision.
A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. Lim completed her dermatology residency at the University of Ottawa before pursuing her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. She previously worked as an academic Dermatologist at the University of Ottawa, where she dedicated her practice to both patient care and clinical teaching. When she is away from her practice, she enjoys recharging outdoors, road cycling, hiking and foraging for mushrooms.
